Device Safety
Read and follow all instructions before using The Boss Marine devices. Keep devices out of reach of children and pets, and do not use it if it has been damaged or modified. Only use the device as intended by the manufacturer. Store the device in a cool, dry place on the boat, away from direct sunlight and never outside. While the device can withstand temperatures up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, it must not be exposed to direct sunlight or salt water. If the device becomes hot, emits an unusual odor, or behaves abnormally, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support. Keep the device away from magnetic fields and static electricity.
Battery Safety
Use only a USB-C cable to charge The Boss Marine device. Do not expose the battery to excessive heat or fire, and avoid short-circuiting the battery terminals. Do not drop or subject the battery to severe physical shock, and do not disassemble, puncture, or damage the battery in any way.
Charging Safety
Charge the device only in a well-ventilated area on the boat and away from flammable materials. Do not leave the device unattended while charging, and disconnect the charger once the device is fully charged. Avoid using the device while it is charging to ensure safety.
Storage Safety
When storing The Boss Marine device, ensure it is kept in a cool, dry place on the boat, away from direct sunlight and never outside. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% before storage. Keep the device away from water, especially salt water, to prevent damage.
Usage Safety
Do not use The Boss Marine device in wet or damp environments, especially near salt water.
